This is the view from where the Looping Star's station used to be to where it will be next year.  The red and white pool looking thing actually is a pool but you can't go swimming in it because it is filled with sand.  The Looping Star is a portable coaster and all of that weight from the pool is used to anchor the structure down.



It will be nice seeing a refurbished Looping Star next year even though the Kentucky Rumbler will overshadow it.



After the festivities it was off to the Wild Mouse for a few laps.  This is a fun coaster but after the insane spinning on our third lap I had to call it a day or risk losing my lunch.



Before heading out I took one last look at the Kentucky Rumbler.  This thing is going to be a blast next year.

Thanks to the Jones family and especially Charlotte Jones-Gonzalez for letting me come and celebrate this ride with them.  They better get their rest now because I think they're going to be very busy come next May.
